About the event
Come and join football legends, Mark Crossley and Dean Windass as they talk about their fantastic careers, reminisce about football memories old and new and get a real insight to life behind the scenes at the clubs they have played for and against.
The exclusive live and unscripted show will see the two former Oldham Athletic ‘keepers (Dean played 40 minutes in goal for Latics and kept a clean sheet) talk about their lives, careers, dressing room antics and off-camera stories about Gazza, Robbie Savage, Roy Keane, Stuart Pearce and of course, Mark’s infamous and hilarious Brian Clough impressions.
Dean and Mark racked up 1,000 career appearances between them playing for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, Hull City, Bradford City, Sheffield Wednesday, Wales and the mighty Oldham Athletic!
Our guest speakers will be joined by the fantastic and funny professional stand-up comedian, Lea Roberts. Yorkshireman Lea rose to fame after winning the ITV series ‘Stand Up Britain’. He is an experienced and entertaining after-dinner speaker and has previously worked with both guest speakers.
Our MC for the evening will be local comedian and compere, David Broadbent. ‘Broady’ has over 20 years experience in the industry and was MC for our last ‘Evening with’ event.
Guests can arrive at the bar area from 6pm before being seated at their tables for 7pm. Our compere will introduce the comedian and special guest speakers before we take in Smokies ‘Diamond Buffet’ which includes meat & potato pie, cheese & onion pie, chicken curry, rice, chips, bread, pizza slices, chicken wings, mixed vegetarian indian selection and mixed sandwich platter. Yum!
Our speakers and comedian will then take centre stage before the evening is concluded with a live auction and raffle.
This is a MUST-SEE event and is set to be our funniest ‘Evening with…’ yet!

Smart casual (no hoodies or hats).

Tickets are £40 and guests will be seated on tables of ten.

Our events raise much needed funds for the Club, the community work we do and our Mental Health Football initiative.
