Bob Rowlandson became the first inductee into the AFC Oldham Hall of Fame in 2019, one of the club’s founder in 2005 he had served as Club Secretary and Manager.

Whether choosing the new kit, organising the yearly Sportsman’s Dinner, fundraising, washing kit ‘Mr AFC Oldham’ would help in any way he could to provide support to volunteers and players.

Involved in football for his entire adult life, he was loved and respected by all until his death, still sorely missed by all who knew him.

Son and Club Development Officer, Andy Rowlandson, received the ‘Bob Rowlandson Hall of Fame Shield’ from Chairman Pete Bird, before a standing ovation after an emotional speech from both men.
