Welcome To Our Junior Development Section
AFC Oldham is a community-centric club and that filters through every team in every age group from open age football to our youngest junior team. Our Junior Development section is built on one ethos; putting fun into grassroots football.
We are not influenced by results in the early years of your child’s journey in the beautiful game. We will win some and lose some, but our single aim is to instil and develop a love for the game throughout all our players regardless of ability.
We have an excellent team of volunteers, mostly made up of outstanding team coaches, who are supported by highly qualified and experienced mentors to ensure we offer your child the best possible coaching in an inclusive, welcoming and fun environment. Our team work very closely together to ensure your child is coached at the highest grassroots standard possible. All children are put into age and ability specific groups so they can play & train at the right ability level to maximise their development.
