AFC Oldham Support Dr Kershaw’s Hospice

We are thrilled to announce that AFC Oldham has been selected as Dr. Kershaw’s Team of the Month for November and December!

What does this mean? Well, we’re teaming up The Furniture Hub at Dr Kershaw’s to support their incredible Kershaw’s Kicks initiative. As a token of our partnership, you can find our AFCO banner and home shirt proudly displayed in-store throughout both months.

We know how challenging it can be for parents to make ends meet, especially with the rising cost of living. Many children are in need of proper school and sports shoes, and that’s where Dr. Kershaw’s Furniture Hub comes in.

They have a dedicated room filled with high-quality, second-hand shoes, all priced at a maximum of £5 a pair. We understand that kids’ feet grow in the blink of an eye, so we want to give every child the opportunity to play the sports they love.

Here’s where you come in – we’re encouraging all our parents, players, sponsors and supporters to donate any old sports shoes or boots that your young athletes may have outgrown.

Your generosity can make a world of difference, allowing another child to step onto the pitch and enjoy the game we all cherish.

Donations can be made to our club officials or directly at the Furniture Hub on Shaw Road, Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.

Let’s come together as a community and make a positive impact. It’s all about giving back and ensuring every child gets a chance to play the game they love!
