AFC Oldham’s Ross Elliott, Andy Rowlandson, Matt Hart and Micky Horton completed the Three Peaks challenge earlier this weekend raising over £500 for Action Oldham Fund in the process.
Organised by Action Oldham the challenge saw ten people walk the three mountains of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent, over 24 miles and a climb of 5,000ft, in just 12 hours.
Everyone at AFC Oldham wishes to congratulate everyone who completed the challenge, and thank Action Oldham for giving our guys the chance to take part.
At the time of writing £585 had been raised, smashing the original target of £500, donations are still being taken here. https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/afcoldham1
