Saturday sees a break from league frustration for the AFC Oldham, as the First and Second Team both have Cup games on Saturday.
A disappointing league season means that AFC Oldham First Team’s only chance of a trophy this year is the Wray Cup, they travel to Moston United.
Tomorrow’s hosts came out 0-3 victors in a fiery encounter earlier in the season, since that game Moston have won once losing the other three.
AFC, too, are on a bad run of form winning one game since then, while suffering defeat seven times, drawing three.
Saturday sees a chance for both teams to forget their league woes and focus on claiming their place in the next round, Swinton await the winners.

To say the 2017/18 season has been a difficult one for the Second Team would be an understatement, yet to win a league game and with only two wins in all their matches this season, the Whitehead Cup presents their only chance of success.
Managing a draw in their last game, a pre-Christmas clash with 100% Signol Athletic Reserves, who had won all their leagues prior to that, shows signs of improvement.
AFC travelled to Hargreaves earlier in the season, where an early sending off to Adam Smith changed the game in the hosts’ favour as they ran out 7-2 winners to claim the three points.
A place in the Semi-Final awaits, though, and the Second Team will be confident they can get through if they can perform as they did in that Signol clash.
